Justin Laramie

Mattie Laramie

NSCA-CPT
BS Physical Education and Health

Justin was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.  He graduated from the University of Missouri- St. Louis, where he played baseball and obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education and Health. He obtained his Personal Trainer Certification though NSCA. Justin has been teaching and coaching athletes since 2007. He has had the opportunity to work with kids from the age of 5 to the college athlete. Justin is a full-time firefighter paramedic for the City of Edmond, and also helps coach his son’s baseball team. His passion for physical health and fitness is evident as he instills confidence in all of his athletes. The mental side of performance is often over looked.  Justin wants to teach the kids to push through their mental ceiling.  We know that an athlete does not always have 100% to give each time they step on the field.  However; Justin wants them to learn they can always give 100% of what they do have.

Mattie is a born and raised Okie, who after spending many years in the corporate business world now homeschools her and Justin’s two children. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree. Her time and experience in the corporate business world contributes to running the day-to-day business side of Youth Performance. Beyond her passion for fitness, she also believes deeply in the full wellbeing of the body spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Her greatest desire for each kid that comes through the doors of Youth Performance is that they would leave feeling better about themselves.
