Chat Williams


Chat has been in the strength and conditioning profession for over 20 years. He has a master's degree from the University of Oklahoma in Exercise Science and several certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He has served on several professional committees and the NSCA Board of Directors. He has presented locally and nationally on youth fitness/strength and conditioning, plus has over 25 publications related to the strength and conditioning profession. He was a NSCA State Director of the Year in 2004, NSCA Personal Trainer of the Year in 2012, and earned a Fellow status in 2013. 

Haley Brown


Haley is a junior at the University of Oklahoma studying Health and Exercise Science. She plans to pursue a doctorate of chiropractic upon graduation. She interned at Youth Performance during the summer of 2018 and recently obtained her personal trainer certification through NSCA. She hopes to serve as a positive influence and inspire kids to reach their goals in and out of the gym. 

Malinda Williams

MS, NSCA- CPT, ACSM EP-C, NETA Group Fitness Instructor, Yoga Instructor RYT 200, NETA Certified Wellness Coach

Malinda has over 20 years' experience in the fitness industry working in many capacities including facility management, personal training, teaching group fitness classes, and wellness coaching. She leads the Female Inspired Training program. She takes a holistic approach to her training by focusing on both the physical and psychological aspects of behavior change. 

She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her BS in 1996 and MS in 2001 with an emphasis in health promotion. Her professional journey has included corporate, private, government, and higher education settings. She is an Adjunct Professor at OU in the Health and Exercise Department. Life-long learning is a passion for Malinda, she continues to grow and develop herself on the path to help others. 

Alex Roughface


Alex is a recent Fall '19 graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Health and Exercise Science. He plans to pursue a masters in public health, and later, a doctorate focusing on health in Native American communities. Alex interned at Youth Performance during the summer of 2019 and is looking to obtain his personal training certificate through the NSCA. He hopes to continue working with and inspiring kids to go after their fitness and health goals.

Josh Hodgson

Josh is a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma studying Health and Exercise Science. He is the Speed and Agility class instructor. He believes that every person has untapped potential that can be found through hard work.
